So what is ConnectSMART?

These views pull information from all over your database, and "normalize" the data. This normalization organizes and presents the data in the most useful means for reporting and analysis. The key is that your data is never changed... you are always looking at your live data. Think of it this way - ConnectSMART is like a pair of fine reading glasses; it brings your data into focus.

ConnectSMART delivers an entire collection of ready-made graphical "gadgets" ready for you to customize and save. These gadgets can be custom tailored and placed together on screen to create a dashboard. You can create unique dashboards for different users or departments, so while your helpdesk is looking at service metrics, the management team is looking at financial information. The secret is to present key performance indicators via a graphical dashboard so you can manage your business at a glance!

The gadgets, dashboards, and reports provided by ConnectSMART are just the beginning! Using the Developer Edition plugin, not only can you have the ConnectSMART gadgets, but you can also connect to other SQL databases, web services, even run straight powershell command. Many of our clients have used the tools provided to display information not only from ConnectWise, Tigerpaw, and Kaseya, but also from Cisco Call Manager or Shoretel systems, even showing metrics from VMWare servers. Again, the limits are only set by your imagination.
